I'm going to try to keep this short because this is a loaded question. Im fine when content creators get press bikes, but I want the creator to act like the press. I saw one influencer recently suggest the Triumph Daytona 660 is a great beginner bike. That was her stretching the truth because she knew her demographics skew towards newer riders. That is not right in my eyes. Also my other question is why does the vast majority of full time motorcycle content creators become ad heavy, while Big Rock Moto isnt? Are you guys living beyond your means? Or did He have more capital to start and maintain a channel?

Interesting, I think both types are good. The possible reason that the P-Twins seem to be more common, is they take up less space? Also, when fitted with a 270° crankshaft, which is fairly new to the P-Twins. It makes it a good choice. But, for long halls the V-Twins, are still best. Interestingly, a 90° V-Twin, runs the same way as the 270° P-Twin

Here is the thing about the NK800 it is nearly the identical platform so some of the KTM aftermarkets should be compatible. That said, if you were to do an exhaust, airbox upgrade, and a tune the engine performance would be spot on, and it would also shed a bit of that weight that one feels over the 790. I can live without a quick shifter and the slightly more neutral rider stance would be no real issue either as it would afford a slightly better degree of comfort over longer distance rides. The cost of the upgrades that would open this bike up more would put you at around the same price as the stock KTM out the door and yet afford you a much better sounding, looking, and on par performing machine; therefore, it would be CF Moto all the way for me.

Its tough to navigate what to offer for companies in european market for beginner bikers. 35kw and 0,2kw/kg makes the range of 400cc and 500cc odd. Some you can drive 18yo ans some you need to be 24yo or have 2years of driving with lower licence level. Its made overly complicated for everyone involved in motocycles.

Hi from New Zealand ,Iv got a first gen Grom ,96 RMX 250 motard ,DRZ 400 Motard and a 155 cc pit bike Motard ,i was gonna sell trhe DRZ for a KLX300 motard till i rode it lol my pit bike has more low end torque ,the sales guy was hyping it up big time im like pass on that yea 1 more gear than my DZR and more modern with FI but sad ,i love to wheelie and the KLX just is not the hoons bike it could of been ,back in the day when the new FZR1000 exup came out i got one ,i went from a 1974 Suzuki GT 250 to the tho and i was outa my paygrade big time ,i raced Motor cross for a bit so it wqas back to dirt bikes road reg and have been riding them then the motyard thing happened and i embraced that 100 percent mainly due to watching the Street Vikings on you tube on their KTM and Husky motards and never looked back,great channel

Spite.. the other chinese "Dual Sport drawing attention is the Lifan KXP250.. Seen it for $2800 shipped.. amazon wants $3600. The Lifan is SOHC, EFI, Air Cooled, 9:1 CR.. heard it also has a balance shaft. 20HP. 6 Spd. Might be a good comparison. Would do a KLX300, but too much $$ at $7K out the door.. some deals, but still.

I just wish domestic motorcycle (and other) manufacturers step up to the plate so we don't need to promote products coming from the country which is now essentially a giant geopolitical enemy and actively trying to destroy us.
